Get An Early Start On Your Spring Gardening
In February I bought something I should have bought earlier in the winter – a humidi- fier to help me deal with the dry indoor win- tertime air. While I was in the store headed toward the hardware section, I turned down one of the aisles and saw something that, to me, means Spring is near.
I saw the display of seed packets.
They make my imagination run wild. Imaginary Catharine is a fantastic gardener. She’s great at figuring out how many plants will fit in the space she has in her garden and yard. She also has the time and energy to take
care of all the plants.
Real Catharine is maybe not so good at
those things.
All the same, the sight of the seeds makes
me want to get a head start on enjoying the
