Edgewood Manor Earns “5-Star” Rating
Edgewood Manor Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center, a skilled nursing facility in Port Clinton, Ohio, just earned a top-level “5-Star” rating for its “Quality Measures” from the federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) in its annual review of care facilities.
CMS is one of the regulatory organizations that has over- sight of skilled nursing facilities. This 5-star rating affirms that Edgewood Manor is ranked at the top when it comes to the quality of care residents receive.
“Earning this 5-Star Quality Measures rating is the result of the great lengths our team goes to care for our residents on a daily basis,” said Edgewood Manor Administrator Frank Swinehart.
Edgewood Manor is an 80-bed skilled nursing facility in Port Clinton, Ohio, providing short- term rehabilitation, long-term skilled nursing care, and respite care. African Safari Wildlife Park will officially open for their 53rd season on Friday, March 26, 2021 for Drive-Thru Safaris only. Projects underway include an addition of 22 acres to the Park’s Drive-Thru Safari; the largest area of African Safari where guests drive
their own car through, animal exhibits, and changes to the Drive-Thru’s topography.
African Safari’s Walk-Thru Safari will also see an addition of several new animal exhibits and animal holding buildings for the 2021 Season. The Walk-Thru Safari is scheduled to open around Mother’s Day weekend, weather permitting.
