A number of area organizations have joined together with the Port Clinton Senior Citizens to organize and host the event. They include Port Clinton High School, the Port Clinton High School Leadership Council, Chefsbest Catering, American Legion Post 113, VFW Post 2480, Ottawa County Veteran Services and the Night Session Big Band.
The event is a community service project and costs are kept low for attendees. Mills-Persely said the Port Clinton Senior Citizens will hold a fundraiser during October to help support this event and other programs. The Mexican Dinner will be held on Saturday, Sept. 28 at Beer Thirty, 212 Maple St., Port Clinton. For only $10 a plate, attendees can enjoy either pork or chicken carni- tas, Mexican rice, beans, salsa and the fixings. It
