Autumn 2015
“Well, it’s a marvelous night for a moondance With the stars up above in your eyes
A fantabulous night to make romance ’Neath the cover of October skies
And all the leaves on the trees are falling To the sound of the breezes that blow And I’m trying to please to the calling
Of your heartstrings that play soft and low...”
~ Van Morrison
Autumn at the lakeshore is a sensory delight. From boat or plane, nothing beats the view of our Erie islands nestled in blue water and decked out in their vibrant fall foliage. Crisp, cool days entice us to go for long walks along the shore. Nature’s bounty presents us with apples, pumpkins, squash and an array of luscious grapes that thrive on the lakefront. The snap, crackle and pop of cozy beach campfires under the harvest moon offer us moments of reflection, redemption, and a chance at romance under the stars. This and more is autumn at the lakeshore. Indulge your senses and don’t forget to share a moondance with that special someone!
