watering pies, cakes and cobblers. Carol creates 30-40 different pie variations, often combining ingredients for a new twist. Whole pies and des- serts can be purchased for “take home” if ordered 48 hours in advance. So, what is the #1 favorite pie you ask? Missy says it is probably the banana split pie, but their brown sugar peach pie is amaz- ing. Other dessert favorites include lemon lush dessert, chocolate pistachio lush, coconut peanut cheesecake, Oreo cake and, of course, apple pie.
Missy expresses gratitude for her seasonal staff of 20-30, who she considers extended family. The Marblehead Galley has indoor seating for 80-100 with another 45 on the deck featuring live music during the summer. Freighters Lounge is attached and a great place to unwind and cele- brate happy hour.
Adjacent to The Marblehead Galley, a new feature coming in spring 2018 will be the Beach Bums gift shop, featuring all things nautical and beachy from beach hats to jewelry and gifts.
