Sandusky Concert Association Celebrates 90th Year
To celebrate the 90th year of the Sandusky Concert Association (SCA), an exciting season of performances has been planned highlighting venues unique to the area cultural scene.
The SCA is sponsoring Rising Star artist, Kevin Miura, as he performs with the Firelands Symphony Orchestra on March 10, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. at the Sandusky State Theatre. Tickets will be sold at the Sandusky State Theatre box office.
Enjoy the engaging and eclectic Mirari Brass Quintet coming on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary of Sandusky’s Zion Lutheran Church. The Salvation Army’s Opens New Service Facility
The Salvation Army’s new Service Unit in Ottawa County recently opened at 1834 East Perry Street, Port Clinton (The Old Thayer Building). Nearly 4 years ago a Catawba resident, Helen Harris, left the proceeds of her Catawba property to The Salvation Army to purchase a building.
The Salvation Army – Port Clinton Service Center serves all residents of Ottawa County by providing financial assistance to those in need through rental/mortgage assistance, utility assistance, along with prescription, transportation and food assistance. Other Programs that are offered include Coats for Families, Tools for School, Camp NEOSA, Toy Program/Angel Tree as well as a Food/Toiletry Pantry.
Now that this building project is completed, The Salvation Army will be able to utilize the space to operate all Programs and Services under one roof and meet the needs of neighbors more efficiently.
R Coffee Corner Opens
A Grand Opening was recently held
for R Coffee Corner located at 3848 Harbor Light Landing Drive, off Route 53, west of Port Clinton. Featured are specialty coffees, bubble teas, and milk teas all in many flavors.
