favorite job, however, is entertaining, especially when someone asks for one of his own songs.
John recently completed the renovation of a 104 year-old church in Sandusky as a music recording studio (The Mohawk Studio) and live music venue (Hard Live). The church is only seven blocks from the Sandusky waterfront at 805 Wayne Street. He and his partner, Mr. Shawn Daley, are actively seeking musical
acts to fill their summer and fall schedules. You can check out the new and exciting venue at Halolive. com
Having completed his Doctorate in Leadership in Public Safety, John has dedicated himself to song writing. He has now written over 140 songs and has a music CD recorded at the 515 Studio in Nashville. He is currently working on his second music CD at The Mohawk Studio. John is entertaining throughout
the Shores and Islands area this summer and hopes you can make it out to one of his scheduled events. An upcoming schedule can be found on his John “Crash Landing” Davenport Island Song Facebook page.
On Friday, June 26 at 6:00pm The Witt Brothers return to Riverfront Live! The Witt Brothers have been playing music together for about 8 years. However Nitt Witt and Dim Witt have played together on and off for the better part of 36 years. They met up with their brother from another mother, Half Witt about 8 years ago and a sweet medley of Witt music arose.
David Bruns known as Nitt Witt has been singing and playing guitar since the 4th grade. Dave plays with a Cleveland based band called “Mourning Glory” and with the Witt
Brothers. He loves to tell really long jokes and embellished stories.
Tim Duffy, known as Dim Witt, has played music for over 50 years. Tim is a singer /songwriter with other talents including playing guitar, mandolin, harmonica, ukulele and bad joke telling. He loves music and entertaining.
Bill Jones, known as Half Witt, has played with the likes of a Big Band and Swing, Bluegrass, Gospel, and he is a proficient bass player, keyboardist, and jazz guitarist. Bill also sings but he cannot tell a joke so don’t listen if he tries.
The Witt Brothers enjoy playing a large genre of music together such as the Blues plus tunes from the late 60’s and 70’s, lots of Buffet and you can catch them at Giamarcos patio in Westerville, Ohio on Thursday nights.
Please join the fun on Friday evenings at 6:00pm for Riverfront Live! In Port Clinton at their new location, Madison Street, within Meals on Madison (M.O.M). Riverfront Live! is a free summer concert series held on Friday evenings in downtown Port Clinton.
