On July 24, 25 and 26 Kelleys Is- land invites you to enjoy some of your favorite films in the outdoors with your family and friends. For over a de- cade the Kelleys Island Film Festival has treated islanders and visitors to a weekend of nightly family friendly movies.

Meet Chef Jamie McFadden Of Sandy Ridge Vineyards

Award-winning Executive Chef Jamie McFadden, of Sandy Ridge Vineyards and Mercantile in Norwalk, is ardently passionate about wine and food. A cele- brated gastronome, vintner and restaurateur, this Monroeville native has been setting the culinary world on fire for over 30 years. Highlights of Chef Jamie’s remarkable global journey with food and wine begin in the 1990’s in Central Florida, where he “entertained deliciously” in various high-profile restaurants, including his own Mimi’s Café and Wine Bar. In 1998 he founded the highly successful Cuisiniers Catered Cuisine & Events, and in early 2011 Orlando area foodies were introduced to his “barJme” concept, a new twist on intimate tableside cooking and dining experience. He has been a guest chef on NBC’s “Today Show”, has taught at the Walt Disney World Institute, and has been named one of central Florida’s Top 20 Chefs.
