The Firelands Sympho- ny Orchestra will present a free Summer Pops Con- cert on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at 7pm at the BGSU Firelands Campus in Hu- ron. It is sponsored by The Albert G. and Olive H. Sch- link Foundation and the guest artist sponsor is The Lange Trust of Sandusky
Library. This concert fea- tures a full symphony or- chestra with conductor Carl Topilow and guest artist Byron Stripling, trumpet. Byron has an engaging rap- port, jazzy vocals and vir- tuosic trumpet sound. His signature version of “When The Saints Go Marchin’ In” celebrates the spirit of New
Orleans and he dazzles au- diences wherever he goes. This is an outdoor concert - everyone is welcome to bring a lawn chair or blan- ket. The rain venue is at the Sandusky High School located at 2130 Hayes Av- enue. For more information go to www.FirelandsSym- phony.com.
