Join The Walk to End Alzheimers
Alzheimers is a disease that effects over 38,000 families in Northwest Ohio and over 114,000 caregivers. The Alzheimer’s Association, Northwest Ohio Chapter, provides a number of services to those living in our community. Assistance includes their 24/7 Helpline, respite financial assistance, educational programs and caregiver support groups.
You are invited to join Erie County Commissioner Pat Shenigo in supporting our local Alzheimer’s Association, Northwest Ohio Chapter by becoming involved in their largest fundraising and awareness event. The 2015 Sandusky Walk to End Alzheimer’s on Saturday, September 19 will be held at the Ohio Veterans Home.
Gather your family members or work associates and form a team of walkers and plan to participate in the fund raising effort. For more information go to http://act.alz.org/Sandusky2015 or phone 800.272.3900. Corporate sponsors are also needed.
The end of Alzheimers starts with your support!
Volunteer Guardians Complete Training
