“Fore!” A Good Cause
The 10th Annual Magruder Hospital Foundation Golf Classic, “Golfing for
the Goal” is set for July 18 at the beauti-
ful Catawba Island Club. Registration
will begin at 10:30 am at the CIC Pro Shop. Lunch will be available starting
at 11:00 followed by a shotgun start at
12 noon. The day will conclude with
an awards dinner at the Clubhouse
at approximately 5:00pm. All of this,
plus two drink tickets, is included in the $135 per person fee. Prior to the noon start, there will be the “Money Shot Challenge” where 3 golfers’ names will be randomly drawn for a chance to win $100,000. There will be a few fun games and challenges throughout the day and the Pro Shop cash bar will be open from 11:00am to 4:00pm.
Proceeds from the event will move the Magruder Hospital Foundation closer to meeting the goal of $50,000 to purchase state of the art computer programming for Cardiac Rehabilitation.
