Let’s Dance
During the last few years there has been an explosive growth in the interest in ball- room dancing throughout the United States. These athletic yet elegant dance moves are becoming a hit with nearly every age
group-from pre-school students to senior citizens. Our north coast is fortunate to host the Sandusky chapter of USA Dance, whose members “make dance happen locally”.
Studies have shown that ballroom danc- ing contributes to the mental, physical and social aspects of well-being. Participants can dance for recreation, in casual dress, or dance at higher levels for sport or compe- tition. USA Dance Sandusky Chapter 2094 offers the tools for getting started on this life- long activity by organizing affordable social dances, dance lessons and workshops.
Summer is a great time to dance cares away! Grab your best comfy shoes and do something good for your mind, body, heart and spirit! Contact Duane Mills at 419.929.1114 for more details.
Herbs, Herbs and More Herbs
“Stay close to nature. It will never fail you”, advised Frank Lloyd Wright. Nature and ani- mal lovers, myself included, whole heartedly agree with Mr. Wright. Our lakeshore pro- vides myriad opportunities to interact with and appreciate nature...spectacular sunrises and sunsets, wooded trails, miles of beaches, and of course beautiful Lake Erie. Nature, in
its purest forms, can restore the soul, while healing the mind and body.
