Join The Presidential History Book Club
The Hayes Presidential Center’s Presidential History Book Club will examine the life and work of Thomas Jefferson this month. The club will read and discuss “Thomas Jefferson: The Art of Power” by John Meacham at noon Wednesday, August 26 at the presidential center, located at Spiegel Grove in Fremont.
The book club’s goal is to focus on reading biographies of U.S. presidents. The club is free and open to all. Club members can bring their own book, borrow one from a local library or buy a copy. Club members are asked to bring their lunch.
Hayes Center Education Coordinator Dustin McLochlin has prepared talking points to generate a discussion among members at meetings. However, the format of the Presidential History Book Club is informal, and everyone is encouraged to be involved. For information, call McLochlin at 419-332-3081, ext. 230, or email him at dmclochlin@rbhayes.org.
