The Arts Are Celebrated In Norwalk
I had a great time earlier this spring at the Artists’ Open Studio in Norwalk. I met my friend there for a ceramics painting session. The AOS is also a gallery and retail space, featuring the work of adults with and without disabilities.
I thought we would have a good time, but it was even better than I had imagined! The AOS supplied all the materials, plus a great lunch and drinks. I’d done ceramics painting a long time ago. I forgot how soothing the process is, even though I’m not very good at it.
More than anything, I enjoyed spending time with my friend in a relaxed atmosphere. The next outing my friend and I are planning will probably be for one of the art classes at Schedel Arboretum and Gardens.
