Grow Her Business

Corinna and Kurt Bench are entrepre- neurs in the truest sense of the word. They have taken their love of farm- ing and healthy eating to the next level as partners in their “growing” CSA (Community Sup- ported Agriculture) business. The cou- ple began their busi- ness, Shared Legacy Farms, near Elmore, eleven years ago. Shared Legacy Farms provides fresh or- ganic, home-grown vegetables and fruit to about 400 custom- er/members from around Northwest Ohio throughout the growing season.
Kurt was raised
on a farm in eastern
Lucas County, but
Corinna had no farming experience when they were married. Now, Corinna wears many hats in their venture, one of which is marketing.
