Fearon indicated that the day’s many events are being assembled to match the festival’s theme of peace through music with its many outdoor activities.
The Miller Boat Line and the Ohio Arts Council are two of the significant sponsors of this upcoming event.
The festival will take place around the famed Perry’s Monument that was built on South Bass Island between 1912 and 1915. The monument was established to honor Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry for his victory over the British in the War of 1812.
