Sandusky State Theatre Names New Executive Director
Chris Parthemore
Chris Parthemore has been named Executive Director of the Sandusky State Theatre. Mr. Parthemore comes to the Theatre from Family Eye Care Centers where he served as the Practice Administrator for the past 7 years.
Mr. Parthemore’s resume includes a strong background in business
as well as continued service on several boards including North Coast Young Professionals and the State Theatre. He is a 1998 Perkins High School and 2003 Bowling Green State University graduate as well as a 2010 graduate of Leadership Erie County.
“The committee conducted a thorough search for a new director which included applicants as far away as Oklahoma. We were impressed with Chris’ business experience and his excitement for the Theatre. Chris is committed long term to the City of Sandusky, the Theatre, and most importantly the patrons of the Theatre,” stated Paul Koch, Co-chair of the search committee.
“Chris’ business background, passion for the arts, and strong ties in the community made him stand out among the candidates. We are thrilled that we were able to find a local candidate who loves Sandusky and is committed to the area,” added Kim Redfern, Co-chair of the director search committee.
Since 1928, The Sandusky State Theatre has operated as a top live entertainment destination for the 75,000 residents of Erie County and the surrounding area. The 1500-seat theater was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982 and is the region’s largest performing arts venue. Their mission is to improve the economic vitality and quality of life of the community
by offering programs of artistic, cultural and educational value.
Bistro 163 Offers A Blueprint For Paying It Forward
Bistro 163 is open to the public, regardless of ability to pay, Mon.-Fri., 11 AM - 2 PM and Saturday (with the addition of brunch items) from 9 AM - 2 PM. It is located in the Sutton Center at 1848 East Perry Street (St. Rt. 163) in Port Clinton. In addition to their regular hours, a community dinner
