“Celebrate KI is all about a community working together to provide a fantastic event for the Islanders and visitors, as well as, supporting those who are dedicated to keeping Kelleys Island safe and healthy,” said Lisa Klonaris, one of the event organizers.
Finally, you can wind up the month of July by enjoying movies in the park! The Kelleys Island Film Fest will be held July 23 – 25 at the Ball Field on Addison Street. This year, the Film Fest is sponsored by the Kelleys Island Chamber of Commerce. Bring your lawn chair and relax while you enjoy popular box office movies, drive- in style, free of charge in front of a large inflatable screen. Snacks and drinks will be for sale during all show times and the event runs from 9:00 to 11:00 p.m. each night.
The outdoor movies begin with an early movie at dusk and another late night movie when it gets dark. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, there will be showings at the Town Hall located in downtown Kelleys Island on Division Street.
