Sandy Ridge Winery & Mercantile is one of the city’s newest businesses. Opened in fall of 2018, the business is the site of a former 1950’s fruit farm. Proprietor/owner and chef, Jamie McFadden and his cousin, Beth, envision it to be a “community gathering place, drawing people from all over north central Ohio and beyond.” The barn includes a lovely tasting room/restaurant complete with a bakery, gift shop and art gallery along with his dad’s 1928 Model A Ford Roadster.
