Toe-to-Toe With The Tallest Mammals
Did you know that no two giraffe are alike? Each giraffe has a different pattern of spots on its body. This means that every giraffe can be recognized very easily by other giraffe. You can find out for yourself when you get up close and personal with the three giraffe who live at African Safari Wildlife Park!
The park has brought back its private Giraffe Feeding Encounter where you can meet Gene, Matata and Rudy in person.
Perfect for animal enthusiasts and giraffe lovers alike, the Giraffe Encounter Experience takes guests into the Park’s Drive-Thru Safari on foot before opening hours. There, you get to stand toe-to-toe with Earth’s tallest mammal for 30 minutes of feeding, unlimited photos, and fun. Giraffe-friendly treats are supplied.
Two daily Giraffe Encounters, with a maximum of eight guests at each, will be available from 9:00- 9:30am, and again from 9:30-10:00am. Giraffe Encounters will be booked into the autumn months, weather permitting.
Giraffe Matata and Rudy beg for a
treat from Cali Sage White during her recent Giraffe Encounter visit to African Safari Wildlife Park.
Encounters must be reserved in advance online. Tickets are $65.00 per person, ages 3 years old and up. A Giraffe Encounter ticket does not include admission for African Safari Wildlife Park. Standard admission is not required for the Giraffe Encounter Experience.
