Try the Huron Pier and re- member that the farther you walk out toward the light- house, the better you’re likely to do. The shoreline along the Old Sandusky Bay Bridge can produce too, though fish tend to be smaller, and there are innumerable shorter piers along the big lake that will often produce a modest
catch. Still, whatever your choice of gear, mode of fishing, and location, perch aren’t too choosy and if you’re in the right place, at least a fair number should hit the cooler be- fore long. Then it’s time to make a few phone calls, invite some friends over, and have a great dinner and evening.
