Area To Welcome Great Ohio Bicycle Adventure
More than a thousand bike riders from across the country will visit Port Clinton in June for the Great Ohio Bicycle Adventure.
Port Clinton High School will become the first location in GOBA’s 31-year history to host a three-night stay. Cyclists will begin arriving on Monday, June 17, and will depart on Thursday morning, June 20.
GOBA is a noncompetitive event that is billed as a fun, family-oriented activity for cyclists of all ages. It seeks to promote bicycle tourism in Ohio by highlighting a different region of the state each year. GOBA registration includes tent camping at the host sites, but many riders opt for hotels or other
lodging.

Fish Festival In Vermilion
Vermilion’s Festival of the Fish is one of the largest festivals in the area. Every year the City of Vermilion celebrates on a grand scale with parades, boat parades, races, pageants, contests, food, entertainment, markets and much, much more. This is a “don’t-miss” event of the year each Father’s Day Weekend.
Friday kicks off at noon as the Midway opens with lots of delicious foods and spectacular craft vendors. There is entertainment nightly on the Main Stage. Fireworks are at dusk, launched off the break wall over beautiful Lake Erie.
On Saturday the day kicks off with a 5 K run and 1 mile walk. The Crazy Craft Races take place at 1 pm on the Vermilion River. The event is open to all. Take
