“Moonlight Serenade” Will Feature A Live Big Band
Get out your dancing shoes! Swingmania, a live Big Band, will be coming to Put-in-Bay on Thursday, August 20 from 6-11pm for “Moonlight Serenade” at the Niagara Event Center.
From Benny Goodman’s “Sing Sing Sing” to Frank Sinatra’s “New York, New York”, this band has the tunes that you will love. Their musical library consists of over 2000 arrangements. All the big name band leaders are represented.
Tickets for “Moonlight Serenade” are available through the Lake Erie Historical Society Museum at 419.285.2804. Tickets are $100 and include heavy hors d’oeuvres prepared by The Goat. The event is a fund raiser benefiting the Lake Erie Islands Historical Society, The Perry Group and the Put-in-Bay Volunteer Fire Department.
Weeknight “Jet And Dine” Discounts Offered
The Put-in-Bay Jet Express has joined a distinguished group of Put-in-Bay restaurants to promote “Jet and Dine”. See pages 17-21 of Leisure Living Magazine for details.
A coupon is offered for $7 off each adult weeknight fare for travel aboard the Jet Express beginning at 3:30 pm from Sandusky and 4:15 pm from Port Clinton to Put-in-Bay. Some exclusions apply.

Family and friends gathered at Heineman Winery on Put-in-Bay recently to help Louis Heineman celebrate his 89th birthday. Linda and Bob Snyder were among those who joined four generations of Heinemans to toast the event - pictured are Louis, Michelle, Ava, Zauzie and Steve Heineman.
