Try M.O.M.
Continued from page 23
Input from the Ottawa County Health De- partment, Port Clinton Fire Department, Port Clinton Police Department as well as from Port Clinton city officials went into establishing firm, socially responsible guidelines for Meals on Mad- ison, which include:
-Tables are placed 15-20 feet apart
-Enjoy a meal with your family or established “herd” only—do not congregate, or visit other tables
-Social distancing is required at all times -Sanitize using the disinfectants provided -Diners must pack up or throw out their own
trash
-Do not attend if you or anyone with you does not
feel well
An added plus to Meals on Madison is the
reinstatement of the Main Street Outdoor Re- freshment Area (M.O.R.A) by Port Clinton Police Chief Rob Hickman. Folks who are fond of an ice- cold beer, a glass of wine or other adult beverages are encouraged to add them to their carry-out or- der and enjoy responsibly in the blocked-off area of Madison. Beverages are served in a M.O.R.A. approved cup.

The hours of operation of Meals on Madi- son are 12-8pm Sunday through Thursday, and 12-9pm Friday and Saturday. Nicole emphasizes that there is abundant parking on North Madi- son Street, South Madison Street, the Key Bank parking lot and behind the Hershberger Building. “We are hoping that M.O.M. will be a great added benefit to our downtown, encouraging shopping safely as well as dining out,” she adds.
Check the Main Street Port Clinton Facebook page for current updates.
When you feel that the time is right for step- ping out with your family for a great meal in a safe, open-air environment, downtown Port Clin- ton is soooo ready for you!
