Footprints In The Snow
Tis a sunny, winter afternoon
With lots of bright, white snow.
As I look out my window,
I see lots of tracks that go Across the yard, into the field, And as far as I can see.
I wonder who has visited and where they might still be!
Just when we think we’re all alone
And winter seems to move so slow,
We just look out our window for those
Footprints in the snow.
For visitors have come and gone
And left their telltale signs that show
We’re not alone as long as there are
