As the Christmas Shopping Season approaches, the American Express Company is poised to launch their annual Small Business Saturday on the Saturday that follows Thanksgiving. This is a concept that local businesswoman, Mary Gangway-Snyder embraces and supports with participation each year.

Clinton where she has been touching lives for nearly 40 years. “It sounds cliché, but the floral business is one that touches everyone’s life events. We are there for births, birthdays, anniversaries, holidays and death.”
It is easy to understand how Gangway-Snyder has survived and flourished for four decades. A woman of many awards and accolades within the community, she prefers to speak of her love for her clients and her privilege of being the one who can share in their joy, ease their sorrow and laud their accomplishments. “It is an honor to be able to customize or add a personal touch to the arrangements we create, knowing they will express the recipient’s likes and interests.”
The upcoming Small Business Saturday is an activity that Mary’s Blossom Shoppe has supported since its inception. She actively distributes flyers and marketing material to other businesses. “The goal of Small Business Saturday is to promote every type of small business and to engage new participants throughout the United States and Canada,” she explains. “It is a free program that has finally gotten some traction and awareness. “
