Support your area and remember a won- derful person at The Great Grape Stomp, a Tribute to Chris Galvin. The fundraiser for the United Way in Ottawa County is sched- uled for Sunday, Sept. 29, noon to 6 p.m.
Last year was my first year witnessing the Witches’ Walk Sandusky, which is sched- uled for Oct. 23. I was prepared for some fun costumes. I was not prepared for the amazing creativity some of the participants delivered! This year will include a strolling magician, a scavenger hunt, music, trivia, and possibly a dance at the fountain! Pro- ceeds benefit area charities.
Most local community theaters take a break of some sort over the summer. Now is the time when the members start rehearsing! Check the schedules – attending a local- ly-produced play is a wonderful way to en- joy your community and perhaps see people you know in a totally different light.
