Summer!
It’s that wonderful time of year when our biggest problem, en- tertainment-wise, is having too many good choices. Weekly and monthly free concerts and events are in full swing, as well as fairs and festivals across the region.
I plan to go to at
least one concert at
Hoover Auditorium
in Lakeside. I don’t
know much about
classical music, but I
know I enjoy it – and
there is a wide variety
of nationally-known acts if I’m in the mood for a different type of music, theatre, or comedy. One of my favorite ac- tivities in Lakeside is quite simple. I love to walk around and admire the gardens.
