Rotary Perch Wagon At The Wolcott Keeper’s House
Benajah and Rachel Wolcott will be open for docent- led tours with the added treat of fireplace cooked desserts from head hearth cook Becky Shemenski. The adjacent Annex, with historical displays and gift shop will also be open, and the Wolcott Cemetery is nearby for self-guided tours.
The House is a project of the Ottawa County
Historical Society, and was purchased and restored as a living history venue. It is supported by donations, grants, and fund raising. Tickets for the annual drawing will be available for purchase. Winners will be drawn at the annual Civil War Encampment on October 12. More information is available at the OCHS website, www. ottawacountyhistory.org
Perch platters and sandwiches, brats and hot dogs, with sides of hand-cut fries will be available from the Rotary Club’s Perch Wagon at the Wolcott Keeper’s House, 9999 East Bayshore Road in Marblehead, Saturday, July 13
from 11:00-3:00. Tables will be available on the grounds, and carryout is also available.
