A typical day for Chef Stacy starts early, packing lunch- es and getting her two teenage boys Christian and Noelton off to school. “I’m a mom first’’, she points out. After wav- ing goodbye to her sons, it’s just a short 1⁄2 mile commute to Lakeside and the job she loves. Her chef’s hat comes off around 7pm, when she heads home to unwind with her family—her husband Criss, to whom she has been married for 27 years, her two boys, and their beloved family pets, Willow and Griffin.

Pumpkin Palooza At African Safari Wildlife Park
Animal residents at Afri- can Safari Wildlife Park enjoyed weeks of fall-themed enrichment thanks to community donations and local vendors, including Walmart (Fremont) and Kroger (Port Clinton and Sandusky).
Local farms and grocery ven- dors, such as Kroger in both Port Clinton and Sandusky, gracious- ly donated hundreds of pounds of pumpkins to African Safari to use in the animal enrichment pro- gram. Enrichment is a way that Animal Care Staff give animals the opportunity to express their
