It’s A Baby Boom At African Safari Wildlife Park
Lucy Hayes Dresses To Be On Display
It’s been a busy season for babies! African Safari Wildlife Park has continued to welcome new animal babies through- out these past few months.
“Our animals usually give birth in the spring when the weather is mild, but with the cooler weather the Midwest experienced this year, we are seeing a lot more babies being born now in the summer,” said General Manager, Josh Ad- kins. “All of the new babies are bonding with their mothers and seem very healthy and happy.”
So far, African Safari is excited to announce the births of 2 Alpaca, 4 Bison, 4 Eland, 3 Elk, 2 Kangaroo, 2 Sika deer,
Baby llama born recently.
and 2 Scottish Highland cows. All animal babies and their moms can be seen throughout the Park.
African Safari Wildlife Park is open daily rain or shine from 9am to 7pm with the last car admitted at 6pm. The Walk-Thru Safari, which features addition- al animals like gibbons, warthogs, and the new Aviary Adventure budgie feeding exhibit is all included in the price of admission.
The Midwest’s only Drive-Thru Safari, African Sa- fari Wildlife Park, is located at 267 S. Lightner Rd. in Port Clinton, Ohio. It is open daily through December 2nd, 2018. See the money saving coupons on the back page of Lake Front News!
